Dog training

What is Force-free training?

Force-free training is a training method of using only positive reinforcement, such as treats and toys. The positive trainers are conscious and aware of emotional wellbeing of a dog too, without causing stress.  There is no use of aversive methods or punishments. Such training is very effective and long lasting as well as building a strong bond of trust between the owner and dog.

But My dog should know their place..

There are still some common misconceptions about the best way to train a dog.
For many years, popular methods were based on outdated studies of captive wolves, leading to the belief that dog owners had to assert dominance or use punishment to gain obedience. Fortunately, science has since debunked these theories.

Modern, evidence-based training emphasizes positive reinforcement—a method that not only proves to be more effective but also strengthens the bond between humans and their dogs. Rather than working out of fear or stress, dogs trained this way choose to engage and cooperate because they understand and enjoy the process.

Dogs have been our companions for thousands of years, and today we know better than ever how to communicate with them in ways that are respectful, kind, and effective.
